Colleagues with 20 years of experience and young talent make Limex, together
History
Read here how Limex developed in the space of almost thirty years from a small-scale custom crate washer specialist to an international player in today’s market, where origin and roots are never forgotten. A special process, in which services and machine construction go hand in hand from the outset.
1982
First crate washer
In 1982, the first crate washing machine was built and taken into use. At the time, the washing machines were transported from one vegetable auction to another on a trailer with a generator in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
1990
Foundation of Limex Machine Exploitatie BV
Eight years later, in 1990, Jan and Annie Janssen founded Limex Machine Exploitatie BV . At the time, Limex consisted of a workshop in Grashoek and a small office, at Jan and Annie’s home, in the attic. Jan develops, builds and sells the washing machines himself.
1994
Move to Koningslust
Limex grows in size and services and is forced to move in 1994. From that moment on, Limex is fully located in Koningslust (both office and workshop). Sales, rentals and services from a single location.
2006
Relocation to industrial park Panningen
The growth of Limex continues and this means a new move in 2006. From that moment on, Limex is located in the building where the head office is still located to this day: on the industrial estate in Panningen.
2018
Limex split into two different divisions
In 2018 Limex is split into two different divisions: Limex Machine Exploitatie BV which is focused on that focuses on the worldwide sale and rental of cleaning machines and LCS BV, which focuses on services: the cleaning process.
2019
Limex handed over to son Joep Janssen
At the end of 2018, founder Jan Janssen handed over the company to his son Joep Janssen. The broad and healthy foundation that was laid over the course of thirty years, together with the energy of Joep, ensure that Limex can continue to grow. Limex is and remains a true family business, where service, quality and innovation are of paramount importance.
